Darlene Porter is The Puppet Lady! For over 20 years Darlene & her friends in the suitcase, have helped her provide entertaining and educational shows of all kinds.

Her shows include ventriloquism and a little bit of magic! Balloon animals and face painting are also available. Darlene is available to perform at events of all kinds!
Darlene has been entertaining others with ventriloquism for more years than she will admit. She received her first ventriloquist figure for Christmas when she was in grade four. She has been talking to herself ever since and says that sometimes it is the most intelligent conversation of the day! Her show will have you laughing at the antics of her buddies, Oliver Twisted, Curly the Clown and Rosie, to name a few! All these characters and more have distinctive personalities and punch lines to match! Darlene claims that she is not a magician but if the audience passes a magical test, then it will be a magical show! The audience's participation always make for an interactive and magical show.
Some of Darlene's other characters include, Grandma & Grandpa, Fritz the Frog, who sometimes has treats in a basket and Dapper Dan the Mountie Man who has been known to make arrests for bizarre reasons. Darlene will personalize the show and take your stories and use them against some poor unknowing victim, I mean guest of honor! This has proven to be a ton of fun - time after time!
